My story:
My journey into the world of fitness and wellness began in the late 90s, rooted in my own personal weight loss transformation. What started as a personal goal quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. In 1998, I earned my first Personal Trainer Certification, followed shortly by my Group Exercise Instructor Certification. I began working in commercial gyms, with a focus on women’s health, weight loss, and overall fitness—and I knew I had found my calling.
In 2005, I was introduced to the world of Pilates and felt instantly drawn to its mind-body connection and emphasis on functional strength. I immersed myself in the STOTT Pilates method and completed training in all modalities, including mat, reformer, cadillac, barrels, and chairs. I began teaching locally, and in 2007, I opened my own studio in Worcester, MA—HardCore Pilates & Fitness. The studio offered personal training, group fitness, and all modalities of Pilates. During this time, I also became certified in Spinning, TurboKick, and PiYo, all of which I taught regularly.
But on September 5, 2010, everything changed.
While celebrating my best friend’s birthday on a stunning day at Lake Lashaway, I experienced a life-altering diving accident. I hit the bottom of the lake head-first, breaking my C1 in four places and shattering my C2. Miraculously, I survived what few do—and made a record-breaking recovery. That experience reshaped my life, deepened my appreciation for every moment, and gave me a new level of understanding of resilience, healing, and the strength of the human spirit.
In 2011, after much reflection, I chose to close my studio and shift my focus to personal training and nutrition coaching from my home gym, while also working in clients’ homes and gyms. I trained out of a variety of clubs, including Boston Sports Club and Anytime Fitness, and continued helping others rebuild their strength—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
In 2014, I followed another passion and launched a second business—Wine Down Events. I became a certified sommelier and wine educator, and found joy in creating experiences that bring people together to learn, savor, and celebrate the art of wine. It was a refreshing and exciting contrast to my fitness career, yet still rooted in education, experience, and connection.
In 2019, I expanded my coaching practice by becoming a Certified Life Coach, blending mindset work with physical and nutritional guidance to support my clients in achieving true, lasting transformation.
Most recently, I’ve become deeply immersed in the world of peptide therapy, particularly as it relates to health optimization and the increasing use of GLP-1s such as semaglutide and tirzepatide (Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.) for weight loss. As their popularity grows, so does the need for knowledgeable guidance. These peptides can be incredibly effective—but only when paired with proper coaching around nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle. I educate and support clients in using GLP-1s safely and effectively, helping them avoid common side effects like muscle loss and nutrient deficiencies while maximizing their results through customized protocols.
Today, my mission is to help others build strength—both inside and out. I coach from a place of experience, empathy, and empowerment, combining decades of expertise with a deep commitment to guiding others toward a life of vitality, purpose, and resilience.
One more thing: I am a trainer and a coach, not an influencer. You won't find a lot of social media prescence from me, you won't see reels of me working out or demonstrating exercises. I am here for you... to help you improve your life, and to me, that doesn't require likes and follows. It requires dedication to you, my client, and your results.
